Â by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow â€” The following are a list of criminal court complaints recently filed by the Sumner County Attorney’s office.These are formal charges introduced into the Sumner County District Court system. The suspects listed in the complaint have not been tried by a judge or jury. All citizens are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.` â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢Curtis Everhart, born in 1982, of Wellington was officially charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, level 4 drug felonies; and use of communication device to facility drug sale, a level 8 felony, by the Sumner County Attorney’s office.Everhart is accused of delivering about .17 grams of meth either directly to two middlemen at the Wellington Steakhouse Motel on March 20, 2013.He then allegedly on March 29, 2013 near Donut Bay in Wellington around noon distributed a small bag of meth to a confidential informant for $150 containing an estimated weight of 1.5 grams.Everhart then allegedly used a phone to call a confidential informant with instruction on where to meet for the drug sale. Arraignment has been set for June 13, at 9 a.m.â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢ Jeffery Redford, born in 1978, of Wellington was charged with theft, a Class A misdemeanor.According to the complaint, Redford is accused of stealing a power stroke gas pressure washer worth $230 from the Wellington Wal-Mart.â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢Sadia Bitner, born in 1971, of Wellington was charged with three counts of distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of school; level 3 drug felonies; and three counts of using communication facility to facilitate drug sale, level 8 non-person felonies.According to the complaint, Bitner sold and delivered about .07 grams of meth for $20 to a confidential informant at 410 N. Woodlawn which is two houses south of Kennedy Elementary on Feb. 22, 2013. At 2.22 p.m. and 2:28 p.m. she intentionally exchanged text messages with a confidential informant to set up a sale of meth.On March 12, she again allegedly distributed .1 grams of meth at the same location and exchanged text messages. Then on March 13 at about 1:30 p.m. Bitner allegedly sold .1 grams of meth for $20 at the same location gain and used texts messages to make the sale.` â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢ Chase Clinkingbeard, born in 1988, of Wellington was charged with possession of methamphetamine. a level 5 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.Clinkingbeard is accused of possessing meth inside a plastic baggie located inside a small blue container.â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢Christopher Bolden, born in 1967, of Wichita, is charged with driving under the influence, a Class B misdemeanor; driving while license is suspended or revoked; a Class B misdemeanor; possession of cocaine, a level 5 drug felony; and windshield obstruction.According to the complaint, on Nov. 15, 2012, Bolden was operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration in his blood of .08 or more. Law enforcement then discovered he allegedly had cocaine which he threw out of the window of his silver 1995 Buick.â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢â€¢Andre Scott, born in 1981, of Wichita was charged with two counts of manipulating electronic gaming machine or lottery facility gaming, level 8 felonies.Scott is accused of playing Blackjack by physically manipulating the outcome, pay out operation of such game by adding and removing chips to his wager after the dealer’s cards were exposed at the Kansas Star Casino.
